Mary Padian, who is often referred to as The Junkyard Queen or The Junkster is famous for her large antique collection sourced from various auctions storage units and estate auctions. Mary's journey to fame began when she earned her degree as a journalist for Architectural Digest, under the founder Paige Rense. Then in her late years, Mary created her own webpage named Mary Finds. The section featured videos that were given on how to decorate and renovate your house. After returning to Texas she set up a store named after her that specialized in antiques. While running her antiques shop she was discovered by an A&E Television producer who gave her the opportunity to participate on the Texas version of Storage Wars. The program ran for three seasons. Due to her fame, she got a role in the original Storage Wars in its fifth season. Storage Wars season 5 was her first appearance.
